Therapy

The camp program serves a number of students with social skills deficits; clinical services for these students include goals to improve social skills and learn new coping strategies. Students work on basic skills such as maintaining eye contact, initiating conversation, giving and responding to compliments, speaking clearly, reading social cues, etc. In Vivo Therapy is provided where the clinician enters the student’s environment to assist in transferring the skills they have learned in individual sessions to the real world environment, through direct coaching and prompting of the learned skill.
